Welcome from AFP President

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Washington.

I am honored to lead AFP-WA this year in our mission to keep fundraisers at the top of their professional game.

Just as with the organizations that you work diligently to support and lead, AFP-WA depends on the dedication of volunteers. The board members and committee members volunteer their time help create opportunities for Washington fundraisers to hone their skills, to reach new professional heights and to support each other as a vibrant community.

The Chapter endeavors to create the type of community that we all want with our organizational boards – a collaborative environment based on best practices and collegiality. We all know that no one can do this important work alone. That's why we're here – to strengthen you and by extension, the profession.
