Welcome from AFP President

Welcome to the new AFP Washington Chapter website.  This year, we launch a variety of online tools to help you stay connected and informed.

First, this website has been completely overhauled to make it easier for you, the AFP Washington member, to:
• Learn about and sign up for events
• Connect to useful tools on the AFP International site
• Read up-to-date news about what’s going on in fundraising and philanthropy 
• Network with other fundraising leaders in Washington.

In our efforts to keep our members updated and informed, we have also launched the AFP Washington Facebook page.  Now you can have events and reminders sent to you as status updates…and connect with other AFP members on topics that are important to you.  If you know someone who is considering joining AFP Washington, please suggest the AFP Facebook page to them. 

I’m also posting regular updates on Twitter (@AFPWA_President) with philanthropy news, tips and resources.  Maybe I can siphon off some of Ashton Kutcher’s followers…
