    Association of Fundraising Professionals
Washington Chapter announces the 2010 Scholarship Program!

The goal of the AFP Scholarship Program is to help AFP Washington Chapter build a professional fundraising community that best represents the communities we serve. This program is a great avenue for those who may otherwise not be able to join as a member to become involved in AFP. The Scholarship Committee strives to award scholarships to those most deserving fundraisers in our community. Click here to meet our 2009 scholarship recipients and read their bios.

Benefits of the scholarship program are valid for ONE calendar year and include:

    1. One-year Introductory Membership to AFP
    2. Admission to a maximum of 8 programs (and attendance at a minimum of 4) throughout the year, not including special workshops or AFP National/International events)
    3. Opportunity to be paired with a mentor from the Board of Trustees
    4. Paid admission to the National Philanthropy Day celebration
    5. Travel stipend not to exceed $200 to be used to attend out of town events
    6. Opportunity to apply for the Washington State Chamberlain Scholarship award to attend the International AFP Conference.
