Celebrating Washington Philanthropists for 25 Years!

We are thrilled to announce that the 25th Anniversary of National Philanthropy Day will be on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the The Westin in downtown Seattle. Please save the date!

National Philanthropy Day is celebrated each year to recognize the individuals and organizations in Washington State that volunteer their service to:

  • Enhance the quality of life in our state

  • Build community

  • Reach out to others to ensure a brighter and more promising future for all citizens

  • Address social needs that are an integral part of American society

  • Make the world a better place

AFP Washington hosts one of the oldest and largest National Philanthropy Day celebrations in the country with over 1,000 attendees. This year we will celebrate our 25th Anniversary with a special program reflecting on past awardees. We hope that you will join us, along with community leaders, non-profit organizations, volunteers, and donors to honor outstanding philanthropic leaders, who have invested their passion, time, talents, and financial support to better their community.
